Available Soon means a dog is still undergoing vetting and is not yet ready to go to his/her forever home. You are still welcome to fill out an application so as soon as the dog is ready you'll be ready too! 

Adoption pending means a dog has a potential home, but you can still fill out an application in case the first application doesn't go through. 

Applications closed means we have received an abundance of applications for this dog and are no longer accepting applications for him/her. We appreciate your understanding and hope you’ll consider one of our other great pups! 

*Seniors 4 Seniors* means this dog is eligible for our Seniors 4 Seniors program. These dogs are also available to be adopted by anyone - you don't have to be a senior to adopt them!

Even if you don't see a dog listed that you would like to adopt, you can fill out an application so things are ready to go when we have a potential match for you! 

There are fees associated with adopting a dog and they will be discussed with you at the time of adoption. We are a non-profit organization, which means all adoption fees are used for vetting and medical care for dogs in the rescue. These fees will be due at the time you adopt your dog. If the adoption does not work out, you may return the dog within a week (7 days) and receive a 50% refund. After one week you may return the dog, but your adoption fee will not be returned and will be considered a donation to the organization.  

****COVID-19 Response****  

We are still open and rescuing animals during the pandemic! Unfortunately, adoption and application processing are significantly slowed at this time.  Please have patience with us as we continue to work hard to rescue as many doxies as possible.
