Does anyone want to foster to adopt this sweet 4 year old Corgi girl? Michigan and surrounding states (or Ontario close to the Michigan border) only.
Foster to adopt means that the rescue pays for any needed basic vet care at one of our approved vets and then you will pay the adoption fee and adopt the dog, rather than the dog going to another adopter.
Her name is Gwendolyn (Gwen, for short). She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines.
She has some chronic issues with UTI's, bladder stones and occasional incontinence. She is on prescription food for bladder stones and some medication for the incontinence and it seems to be working. She had to have bladder stone removal surgery in the past, but the food should prevent more stones from forming.
She is good with other dogs and hasn't lived with kids but likes them.
Her owner says she is super energetic, loves to herd and cuddle, and very vocal with talking. Gwen is so sweet and super sassy. Loves to cuddle and climb up on your chest for a face hug. She might enjoy agility or something to burn off all her energy.
Because she loves to run around, we are looking for a home with a physically fenced yard for her.
