Weege (short for Luigi) is a 5-year-old Welsh Corgi. He loves a good tug-of-war with a toy, or to
do “zoomies” around the house, equally loving to chase and be chased. He’s always very
excited to meet new people and wants to dash out the door when a delivery person visits to say
“hi.” He has not spent a lot of time with other dogs but is always curious to meet them on walks.
He currently lives with two cats and gets along with them fine, though does like to herd them at
times. He’s grown up with middle and high school-aged children, but has not spent much time
with kids younger than that. He’s very intelligent and you can use his favorite food in the whole
world – ham – to train him (and if you tell him “get in your crate” at bedtime, that is what he will
expect). Like a lot of dogs, loud noises bother him, like thunder and fireworks, and he’ll seek a
dark, quiet place to hide when those are happening.
Please note that Weege is an intense resource guarder. In addition to food, he will guard his own toys and sometimes items that don’t even belong to him.
