Meet Thumper! He’s a 12 year old long haired black dachshund. He’s 19 pounds of pure cuteness and love.

Thumper gets along with dogs and cats. He has not been kid-tested since being in foster. Older respectful kids would likely be fine. He loves meeting new people. He can be protective of his emotional support ball (featured in most of his pics). He has not resource guarded since being in foster. 

Thumper would love a yard to bounce around in and a human who is home more often to take him for walks, pet him, and brush him. He is energetic but he takes medication for a mild heart murmur to help his heart pump more efficiently. His daily medication should cost ~$1-2 per day. He wears belly bands in the house because he marks. He is not incontinent (bands are always dry) and he doesn’t mind wearing belly bands. He is the sweetest boy ever!
